  The Gorki milling machine tool plant, nowadays ZAO “Milling machine plant” (ZFS), become active in December of 1931 and was practically one of the milling machines plants for domestic machinery construction during all the pre-WW2 years.

In the year 2003 the full equipment range has been deeply modernized. From the beginning of the year 2003 ZFS is only machine tool plant in the former USSR which has been increasing its production volume. ZFS is the only CIS producer of full range of milling machines, including special CNC machines.
